Cabo Sails
Last month I had the pleasure of being on a day sail with Cabo Sails in Cabo San Lucas. What a great time we had from the moment we started to the end.
Upon arriving at the Cabo Marina we were personally met by Jose Manuel and Serena, the owners of the company, and escorted to the 33 ft. Alegria. Our captain David and first mate Miko introduced themselves and we were underway! Both David and Miko were very knowledgeable of the area and shared stories and information about Los Cabos with us. We left the marina and motored near Lover’s beach, Neptuno’s rock, Window to the Pacific, Scooby Doo Rock and the famous Cabo Arch, both sides. I had been by these places but never so close and it was my first time seeing the “Window to the Pacific”.
Once out of the bay we began our whale watching adventure and saw more than a dozen during our tour playing in the waters of the Pacific Ocean. Along the Pacific Beach we saw the new construction at Sol Mar Resort, the new Capella Resort and Pedregal Beach where many of our vacation rentals are located.
In addition to serving us from the open bar, Miko prepared a wonderful sampling of the food offered on this tour including a fruit and cheese platter, Mexican Combo appetizers, sushi, and vegetable platter. The presentation was as if it had been catered and the food excellent.
A great time was had by all on this three hour sailing tour. Each tour with Cabo Sails is private and customized for the passengers on board. They have held weddings on board, vow renewals, anniversary celebrations, engagements, and family outings just to name a few of options available.

My wife and I went on a 3 hour sail with Cabo Sails and had a fantastic time. If your going to Cabo this is a must. The sites were awesome and the crew were fun and very informative. The food they prepared during our voyage was very tasty and they kept the refreshments flowing. We sailed on the Alegria and the accomodations were great. We absolutly enjoyed every minute of our smooth sailing adventure. Can’t wait to go back.
